A time capsule is a historic cache of goods or information, usually intended as a deliberate method of communication with future people, and to help future archaeologists, anthropologists, or historians.[1] The preservation of holy relics dates back for millennia, but the practice of preparing and preserving a collection of everyday artifacts and messages to the future appears to be a more recent practice. Time capsules are sometimes created and buried during celebrations such as world's fairs or cornerstone layings for building or at other ceremonies.
The Woodhaven Library in Woodhaven, Queens, NY, turned 100 on January, 7 2024,
and to commemorate that occasion, they buried a Time Capsule that will be opened in 100 years on January 7, 2124
Coming soon - In the meantime, please check out our other documentary films
I have conceived of, and written a lot of documentary films, sometimes as many as three a week. This is in addition to the many other commercial, narrative and TV series work I do.
I've also written several narrative films and a few TV series, but they can't be discussed here.
